Who We Are
The Syndicate Team
Shaun Sanghani
Shaun Sanghani, recognized as one of Variety's "10 Producers to Watch" in 2018, has produced and executive produced over 50 films. As the founder of The Syndicate and parent company SSS Entertainment, Shaun oversees operations and serves as the primary producer on numerous projects. In 2019, he spearheaded the launch of SSS Film Capital, a film financing unit.
Some notable films produced by Shaun include THE FALLOUT, JAMOJAYA, GONE IN THE NIGHT, THE LAST FULL MEASURE, RARE OBJECTS, ALONE TOGETHER, and PANAMA. Shaun holds an M.B.A. from Tulane University and an M.F.A. in screenwriting from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
Jeffrey Giles
Prior to joining The Syndicate, Jeffrey Giles began his career at Nu Image / Millennium Films and retains a wealth of experience and knowledge in business affairs, sales and the production of notable titles such as The Expendables, Conan, Rambo, Righteous Kill and The Mechanic to name a few. At Automatic, Mr. Giles manages the entire film-making process; from the development, finance and production of a film property to the sales, marketing and distribution of it. His day-to-day activities include the development of original content, production, acquisitions, marketing, sales and business affairs.
Michael Lurie
Michael Lurie is a partner at The Syndicate. His responsibilities are managing licensing and distribution operations, project packaging, marketing and business development.
